One subscription. Nothing to buy first.

Truth Transcription is priced as a monthly subscription, and launch pricing is being finalized now. If you are producing transcripts today, we would like to talk before it is set.

What the subscription covers

  • The on-device app for capture and the immediate draft
  • Post-production for every recording you upload
  • Speaker attribution by microphone channel
  • A recording participant for Zoom, Teams, Webex, and Meet
  • The review editor with audio playback and find and replace
  • Court-formatted text, PDF, and Word exports
  • Sharing with colleagues and clients
  • Every improvement, as it ships

What it stands in for

The traditional workflow is paid for in capital purchases before the first page is produced, then kept alive with renewals.

  • A stenotype writer, which alone runs into the thousands
  • A CAT software license, plus its annual support plan
  • A dictation package such as Dragon, licensed per seat and bought again at major versions
  • A computer specified to run all of it
  • Years of training before any of it earns

We do not quote a number for that column because it depends on what you already own. But we designed the subscription to cost a small fraction of it, and to start earning on the first hearing.

Is there a per-page or per-minute charge?

The subscription is the price. We will publish any usage terms alongside launch pricing rather than surprise anyone with them.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Any multichannel recorder that writes WAV files works, and the app captures on an ordinary phone or tablet. A browser is the only software.

If you are equipping a room, we will advise on the setup: which recorder and how many channels, which microphones suit the bench, the witness stand and counsel tables, and how to place them so each voice lands on its own channel. One microphone per speaker is what makes attribution a fact rather than a guess.Ask us — the consultation is part of getting started, not an extra.

Who holds the recordings?

Your recordings and transcripts are stored in your account, accessible only to you and the people you share them with. They are never used to train anything.

Can an agency run several reporters on one account?

Yes. Accounts have an administrator who adds reporters, and transcripts can be shared between them for viewing or editing.
